Let
me share one of my personal story-
My father unfortunately is a blood pressure patient and he always
maintain his rules to stay healthy and goes for check up after every 15days. In the year of 2008,
he was not feeling good, he was tensed for some reason and decided to go for check up. Then he went to Bangalore for his check up when the doctor
examined his blood pressure level the doctor remained shocked to see the level
of his BP because it was extremely high and the doctor said "OMG!" you are very very lucky that you have managed yourself to reach out to the hospital and then doctor asked my father to show his
previous prescription. When the doctor saw the prescription he immediately replaced
those outdated medicine and prescribe few new medicine. My father purchased prescribed
medicine from there for the duration of 3 month. After taking the medicine his
BP reached to normal level and now he is fine from then. But 3 months later when
my father went to local pharmacy to buy those newly prescribed medicine, they
said this medicine is not available, you have to place an order and wait for
few days.So my father waited for few days and received the medicine because at that there was no alternative option except this "Long time Waiting Process". This was the condition of non-availability. Later the problem was
solved but it took almost 1year. And this happen because somewhere we are
still outdated and out of reach from the latest technology.
